  THE SEED
Pouring hard work

The Remik Group began as a small but passionate team of dedicated people. With clear vision, accurate planning and immaculate execution process, we launched our operations. We dreamed big in our small office-room and we were totally committed to it.

With unending enthusiasm, Remik started locating, identifying, assessing and visiting the customers of our products. Our only mission was to give our best and we were confident about future growth. We pursued the businesses on the basis of the quality of our products, adhering strictly to our values. There was no space for unfair dealings. We aimed at win-win situations for our Principal-suppliers, customers and ourselves. All the decisions taken complied with laws. We aimed to service the needs of the customers. We were more customer- driven and less market driven.

The Remik Group's concentration was equally on relationship building with suppliers and customers. We practiced uniformity and that developed a smooth blend between us. We were the marketing arm of our Principal suppliers.

What's more, with our own growth, we also supported our loyal suppliers in their marketing efforts for products in the assigned territories. We also convinced our suppliers to alter the modus operandi and persuaded them to focus more on the customers, just like us. And the result was obvious. Success for everyone.

THE PLANT
Savouring success
Today, Remik stand tall with more than ten associates, and the turnover touching to Rs.200 Crores for the year 2005-06 has proved Remik's supremacy in this segment. Our businesses for core products are also growing steadily. New business development cell is already established and is growing at faster rate.

But these milestone achievements are not just because of KARMA of our company but the result of decades of sheer hard work and dedication towards the customers.

Spreading
branches Remik is spreading its reach in each and every required corner of the assigned, diversified and/or selective market-area segment. The urge to deliver the best service to the supplier manufacturers / intermediaries, has made us open different divisions. All our offices and divisions are well-equipped to deliver the required services.

Here goes the list of our organizational expansion :
Engagement of more than 200 people in Marketing and Support service divisions.
Active operations in Eight States, mainly Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, with head-quarters at Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
Own offices in Ahmedabad, Surat, Mumbai, Indore and Kolkata; hired premises at Raipur, Jodhpur, Ankleshwar, Bangalore and resident representatives at Rajkot, Surendranagar, Pali, Bhilwara, Balotra, Jaipur, Vadodara, Vapi, Solapur, Pune, Latur, Nagpur, and Hyderabad.
There are eight divisions, of which five divisions are handling the Core Product business at Central office and branches.
  -  Gist of diversification and business development.
-  The New Business Development cell engaged in sourcing and
    marketing the future products.
-  The Manufacturing division at Ahmedabad and its expansion thereto at
    Panoli to include a few more Chemicals with export potential.
-  The Infotech division showroom is established for communication,
    hardware and accessories.
-  The Export-Import division attends to the needs of our customer-
    segments for quality goods at economical prices. We have also
    commenced extending such services to our global customers.

Motivating Employees
Remik believes that the freedom to choose the modus operandi for high task performance, and the responsibility thereof, go together for its constituents. This freedom enhances the competencies and capabilities of its employees while learning through performance of task. The positive strengths of the individuals are also assessed and nurtured prior to the assignments. The orientation process enables the employees to learn the prerequisites of task performance. This enhances the job satisfaction and motivates to deliver the best of the performance.

Remik has long relationship with many of its employees and now many are stationed to look after responsible managerial assignments due to their long tenure of experience of Remik's businesses. This is one of the reasons for our growth, as evident now. Remik's main assets are its employees. Remik has assigned the distinct responsibilities with required authority to its employees, along with freedom for decision making within the given parameters of values and culture.

Growing with Leaps and Bounds

Achievement is not the end of an endeavour for us. Remik aims to achieve further growth in future. And for that, we have made our plans.

Establishing New Business Development Cell
Remik has already established a New Business Development cell, which works with a completely different approach. Overlooking our experiences in marketing of Core Products, we aim to establish our competencies in sourcing and developing new segments of products and customers. We attempt to achieve the desirable results here through new experiences and learning thereof.

Restructuring The Roles and Responsibilities
Remik is also busy restructuring the roles and responsibilities for achieving better penetration, value addition and diversification, besides increasing the share of the market for our own core products.

Expanding Manufacturing Facilities
Remik has also plans for expanding manufacturing facilities in the near future, which include expansion of our existing plant at Vatva, and establishment of a new plant at Panoli and at Jhagadia for manufacture of Basic Chemicals in association with one of our core suppliers.

Broadening Product Range
Not only our manufacturing facilities but our product range will also be broadened. The products of the modern world are already added by Remik Infocom Centre, which is actively dealing in communications, hardware and accessories.

Venturing into Exports / Imports
After successfully venturing into imports of Chemicals and providing the indenting services to our customers for their requirements at more competitive rates from global sources, we are now all set to venture into exports and/or re-exports to other countries through our Import-Export division.
